UCI Track Cycling Team Launches New Online Community -- Black Dog Professional Cycling
Denver, CO (PRWEB) July 7, 2010 -- Black Dog Professional Cycling (http://www.blackdogprocycling.com), a UCI-registered track cycling trade team, has just launched their new website and online community. The site prominently features custom bike builder Parlee Cycles (http://www.parleecycles.com), the team’s premier sponsor as well as exclusive deals for site visitors from sponsors such as Rudy Project North America.
The two year-old team is comprised of the 2009 U.S. Track Cycling Elite National silver medalists in the Team Pursuit and Madison, Ryan Luttrell and Ryan Sabga, and Giovanni Rey, a sprinter and multi-time top ten finisher in national championship competition. In designing the website, team owner John Holton envisioned building a cohesive track cycling community where fans of the sport could go to learn about the sport and team as well as access equipment from team sponsors and leading vendors in cycling technology.
“It’s great to have a website where we can keep our fans and the cycling community updated about what’s going on with our athletes. More importantly, however, we wanted to deliver an educational hub for the cycling community. Track cycling is still a fringe sport to many people and we’re gradually building the Resource Library and our blog to provide solid information for everyone from the fan in the stands to those who want to get involved in the sport, “ explained Holton.
The team will add articles to their Resource Library each month and aims to become a go-to resource for track bike racing and questions about the sport on every level. Their blog will provide fans with race results, information on upcoming events, news from the team sponsors and gear reviews. Fans can expect updates multiple times per month.
